The sun emits a wide spectrum of light, not all of which are visible to the human eye. Part of this spectrum, between 0.4-1000 Microns, are known as Infrared.
Infrared is broken up into three distinct categories; near, mid and far infrared.
Combining these three types of infrared heat leads to numerous benefits. What differentiates SunSauna® from other infrared saunas?
No, other forms of like such as standard incandescent bulbs, flourescent and even newer LED light cannot produce a brilliant white as neodymium bulbs can. This is why neodymium coated bulbs are used in greenhouses to provide the closes thing to natural sunlight available today.
What type of heat do I feel outside, when I’m in the sun?
Absolutely NOT! You will never acquire a “sunburn” from any neodymium type bulb. The bulbs produce light as it is perceived from natural sunlight, and gives a greater color rendition as well as generating a brighter, whiter light. Our bulbs do NOT produce harmful UV rays, that bulbs in tanning beds are capable of producing.
Are there any other saunas out there that offer full spectrum infrared?
There are a lot of bold claims by many sauna manufacturers. However, one claim holds true; our patented Full-Spectrum light and IntelliHeat® infrared heaters provide a quality of visible light, near, mid and far infrared heat matched only by the sun itself.
